Sengerema Health Training Institute
Sengerema Health Training Institute (SHTI) was formed to training programmes in the fields related to health and allied sciences. Currently the institute is offering four programmes namely Clinical Medicine, Laboratory Medicine, Social Work, Nursing and Midwives training institute. The SHTI is the new name after the Catholic Diocese of Geita as owner decided to merge its health training.
RECOMMENDED
institutions formerly known as Sengerema Clinical Officers Training Institute and Sengerema Nursing School to one institution. Under the SHTI’s the former institutions are turn to be called departments.
The Sengerema Health Training Institute was registered by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) to offer health training programmes from Basic Technician Level (NTA level 4) to Ordinary Diploma (NTA level 6).
