Rwanda Airways Reopened It’s Airspace

Rwanda Airways Reopened Airspace For International Flights. Rwanda has reopened its airspace for international flights, following a 134-day moratorium, due to a coronary outbreak and the first Rwandan airline flight today carried passengers from Kigali to Dubai.

In addition to Dubai, Rwanda Airways has resumed its flights to Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro, Douala, Kamembe West Rwanda, Kigali, Libreville, Lusaka and Nairobi.

Speaking to the media, Rwandan Airlines Chief Yvonne Manzi said Rwandan aircraft were safe from the corona virus as they were well-organized to ensure no corona distribution occurred.

The director general of the national medical institute Dr. Nsanzimana Sabin, has said he is not worried about the further spread of corona virus in the country following the resumption of international flights.

That comes as 28 people have been diagnosed with the corona virus after 3374 samples of tests, taken in the last 24 hours and now Rwanda has recorded 2022 patients.
