AKES, T is looking to hire qualified candidates for the following positions based in Dar es Salaam:
School nurse
Key responsibilities
- Provides health assessments.
- Obtains a health history.
- Observes the child for development and health patterns in making nursing assessment.
- Develops and implements a student health plan.
- Interprets the health status of students to parents and school
- Initiates referral to parents, school personnel or community health resources for intervention, remediation and follow through.
- Provides ongoing health counselling with students, parents, school personnel or health
Requirement
- Diploma Certificate from accredited College or University
- Registered Nurse
- Minimum of two years’ experience in public health nursing, community health nursing, school health nursing or pediatric nursing
